Weekly Update |
||
Dear Residents
An update from your local Sherbourne Police Team.
WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?
Officers have been visiting housing site developments to offer crime prevention advice due to an increase in reported burglary, theft and criminal damage incidents. Patrols will be conducted at the relevant locations over the weekend. Please report any suspicious activity if seen anywhere near these developments.
School patrols have been conducted at starting and finishing times. Please park considerately when taking children to school and picking up. Inconsiderate parking presents a danger to pupils and parents.
We have had a report of a box of laughing gas cannisters found in Evenlode Crescent. We have seen a rise in the use of these products and they can also cause issues when they are discarded. Patrols will be conducted at known locations where these have been used and found previously.
CRIME UPDATE
Theft of a motor vehicle has been reported on Dulverton Avenue. Offenders made off with a Jaguar that was locked and secure. Investigations are ongoing at known vehicle deposition sites.
Anti-social behaviour patrols are continuing around the Alvis Retail Park. Come over and have a chat to us if you see us parked up.
FORUM MEETING
We shall leave this reminder for the forum meeting on the weekly message service in case we have new members join WMNow.
The Sherbourne PACT/Forum meeting will be held at the Coundon Social club on Thursday 20th November from 6pm until 7pm.
Please come along to discuss any issues you may have. We will also invite the local councillors.
Regards
Sherbourne Neighbourhood Police Team
